IG report bots are ruining it for everyone

People are buying hundreds of IG accounts and using them for the only purpose of reporting other IG accounts which they see as competition in their niche. This is what currently happens in the oversaturated Pokemon Go niche and is one of the reason why your accounts are getting banned even though you are using high quality proxies and safe low settings on your accounts actions.

The report bots are probably working by scraping accounts with certain keywords related to their niche (pokemon, pokemon go, pokemongo, coins, free coins etc) and reporting as many accounts as they possibly can in order to lower the competition. This is a very ugly trick and I would like to see if anyone has more information regarding these report bots. I would like to know exactly how they operate so I can prevent my accounts from getting banned due to these selfish kids who are ruining it for everyone in the game, themselves included.

These accounts are 3-4 months old and have been running strong for 3-4 weeks without any issues. All of them are now starting to fall apart and I believe it is due to bots reporting my accounts. Why do I think so? Because I have accounts in other less competitive niches that are running with the same accounts (3-4 months old from same batch) with the same IP as the Pokemon Go accounts and these account are still alive and have been for months.

As a CPA marketer I am very well aware that I'm not playing exactly by the rules so some people probably want to tell me to shut up and start reporting competitor accounts myself. I don't think this is how IM should be done. All we want to do is to earn money, we don't want to hurt each other while doing it, do we?

This is how I see it:

I steal 5 minute of peoples lives and in return I become rich and have the ability to work from home which is my dream. I also don't feel bad when "scamming" kids by promoting game hack niches. I just see it as bad karma for the kids as they are trying to break the rules by cheating in a game. Also I donate some of my earnings to animal support so I am actually converting stupid kids time into a better world!

This is what happens when you decide to deal with one of the most saturated niches of 2016 full of HF kids. Worth considering switching niche not much you can do here to avoid reports.

Couldn't agree more, unfortunately, manners and decency go out the window when money is involved. Would suggest switching niche!

You see, Instagram has been updating its security lately. Some changes are quite questionable, as if they are planning on doing something major.
Tons of Instagrams have been banned this week, bots and whatnot. So my question is, are you certain that your account were banned because of someone reporting them and not because of the "Instapurge"?

Change your accounts usernames if you think this is the problem . Use other usernames and try to avoid the keywords you mentioned.

I would like to get in contact with someone who is developing these bots in order to understand how they operate so I can defend myself against them. My guess is that they are simply keyword based as I described in my first post, but as I am not involved in using these bots I can not say for sure, this is just a wild guess but I am pretty confident that it's a fairly accurate one.

You're using single proxy for multiple accounts, what security are we even talking about? The fact that it worked before, doesn't mean that it'll continue working considering how fucked Instagram was for months by spammers.

Agreed. Too many kids without morals are joining the scene ready to do ANYTHING to make greens.

Personally, I didn't get any account banned so far, am only promoting E-Commerce based sites in unsaturated niches. @Op, you should change niche.

. Stop complaining. Happens . Get over it.

Same thing is happening with negative SEO. Life move on, shift to another niche if this particular sector is getting over crowded.

I am using 2-3 accounts per proxy and the suspensions are not due to proxies because I have accounts in other niches that are sharing the same proxies that the Pokemon Go accounts were using before they got permanently banned. These accounts from the other niches are all perfectly fine.
