IG likes on pics freezing after an hour

I post pics daily and I get like 200-300 likes for the first hour, then the next 23 hours I might get 20-30 more likes. My IG has 52.8k followers. Anyone else is having this issue ?

Not that few, but yes - something similar.

I seem to have a ceiling on the number of likes I get, somewhere around 2000.

For example, I took part in 2 huge telegram rounds yeterday afternoon. My post had over 1000 likes in just under an hour. Over the next 12 hours, I've gotten 700 more. I won't get more than 2000.

may be they have changed algorithm on how they show posts on news feed?
