Well, to my surprise, I was comment blocked AGAIN, and my second week in a row. Last week was 120-170 comments, and this week has been 50-105. My delays are 90-120 seconds and I have over 122,000 spintax comments on a 3.5 year old account.

It looks like I will be avoiding comments all together for a while. :( Sad day for the bots...

Just to let you know I ran in to the same situation last year, its not how many spintax you have or how low you have already set your settings. Once you hit the block at 2 weeks its going to take you about a month or two from my experience, before you can use your bot at the "just be low the general settings" to comment settings, in your case 120-170 mark or whatever. My suggestion is after a month try to go back and comment but do it every other day instead of every date scheduled.

How long are your blocks lasting? I've had 24h blocks and 7 day blocks, just curious if you are hitting the latter.

24 hours blocks.

But... last night I was comment blocked at approx 7pm (tried posting at 9pm and said 22 hours remaining). At 11pm, I tried to comment on one of my own pictures (which still worked last week). It said I was comment blocked for 24 hours again.

Instagram warning also asks 'if this was a mistake' and you can either hit 'Tell Us' or 'Ignore'. After clicking on 'Tell Us', a new page loads that says "You are trying to do something on Instagram that was marked as abusive."

This tells me that its actual people reporting the comments, rather than a algorithm. My comments do not come off spammy. They are usually 2-3 sentences long and actually sound very good. I think the only reason why people reported them is because I always say 'F4F' or 'Followback!' at the end of the sentence.

Had the same thing, got a comment block last night for 14 hours. Maybe they have set a new omit or something. Tried to post a picture but it wouldn't let me post a caption.

Ive paused my account and just going to give it 24 hours and lay off the comments. Don't want to get my account banned

happened to me too with 3 accounts all over 4-6 years of age
100 comments a day ;\ i was thinking its IG but now im suspecting reports..

Thats exactly what I'm thinking. 'X' amount of reports = comment blocked for 'X' amount of time.

Why else would I have a 24 hr ban that reset itself 4 hours later? It has to be due to reports.

Yeah when u use comments thats a whole another factor of people quickly able to throw your comment in the abuse bucket so keep the comments small and few.

What type of comments are you using? Give us an example so we can tell you if it's spammy or not.

I do not think our comment ban is from other user's reporting us. We all are having the same issue and all of a sudden everyone is reporting on each other for having our comments spammy? I don't buy it.

My comments are't spammy, have links or promoting. It's gotta be IG cracking down.

I never use any F4F or follow back stuff like back follow me crap. When I was a normal IGer I would automaticly hit the abuse button as me being one person out of a billion users lol. If I wanted to amp the followers I would always refer to #followme that way when I like a picture they have the option of following me without seeming like I am asking for followers.

I think its a combo everything. More botters + more spammers + more reports = IG cracking the whip
