IG Error: No Email Verification received on 2 accounts

Getting a weird error...

2 different accounts are in PVA Status, after I select Email Verification, the email never comes, I click back, and reselect Email Verification... I've done this now 10x, from both MP Browser, and iPhone manually... also waited an hour, and retried it again. Checked spam folder, antivirus, security settings, and yes triple checked I had the correct email address..


I've never seen this before. Is this IG soft-banning the account or an IG glitch from the server outtage yesterday?

They could have a big backlog from yesterday's downtime.

If the emails don't arrive today with a "delayed" flag on the headers, I'd bet you tripped some sensor on their antispam.

Hard to tell, it can be both. What email provider are you trying to use?

Mail.com .... I've successfully email verified a bunch of PVA-blockstatus Mail.com the past 3 weeks. Also able to receive Email Verifications on accounts with without PVA-blockstatus... maybe it will fix itself in 24-48 hours...?

SOLVED!

I reset the IG password, and the reset password email came immediately. After setting up the new pw, I hit verify email button, and the email came right away. Alls verified.

Seems to be an issue on the IG end.
