Hey guy's I'm facing an unusual problem with one of my theme pages, my account has been Shadowbanned and is not being recommended to non-followers. However when I check in the account status settings I have 10 pieces of my own content being flagged for either duplicate content or unoriginal content (repost other ppl videos) it's not exactly telling me which one. The funny thing is all these videos posted on my page are edited by me (motivational videos) and are all my own original pieces of work in terms of Instagram guidelines. Some of the posts are re-puropsed meaning I used them 6 months ago they went viral and 6 months later I am posting them again, but I'm not just redownloading the video & reposting (using same metadata), I am re-editing it in Capcut and exporting with new Metadata so basically it's a new video again. Which confuses me a lot, has Instagram figured out my trick with re-purposing viral content and hitting me with "Duplicate Content"? And few of the videos posted were fresh edits meaning I have never posted them on the page before and yet they also got flagged for duplicate or unoriginal content. Basically my only 2 options are to Appeal (Which I did waiting on response) or 2 remove the videos flagged and the shadowban will be removed. I'm hoping I win the Appeal and don't have to delete them as these videos have and still are performing very well. Is there any other option to get of this Shadowban without deleting the videos and has anyone been in a similar situation? Also why am I even getting flagged for my own videos? And lastly how can I avoid this going forward, I don't want to delete these videos post more and then get new shadowbans on new pieces of content and keep repeating the same cycle just to be in this Shadowban loop. Audio Fingerprinting: Using the same speech or background track, even in remixed form, might still trigger a match. If your page repeatedly uses similar formats or clips =regardless of editing... the algorithm may start shadow flagging the page based on behavioral patterns, not just individual videos.

That sounds really frustrating. Instagram’s algorithm can be tricky with reusing content, even if it’s edited. Hopefully your appeal works! Meanwhile, maybe try mixing in fully fresh content and changing posting patterns to avoid repeats triggering flags. Anyone else dealt with this?

I mention this often to many users and that is why its important to remove the flagged content so that the "account status" shows no flags. Many agencies that have 500+ accounts are making sure that the account status is in good standing because that is one very vital factor that pushes the reach for the post.
Ya i removed the videos it was about 50+ vids and the flag got removed in 5 mins. Guess IG figured out I was repurposing my viral content every 6 months with new Metadata and stopped me. Although they didn't get all my videos, still re-purposing older videos till this day and it's doing great. I'm hoping this was a one-time thing.
Removed the videos like they asked me to, was about 50+ videos but the flag got removed instantly 5 mins after.

i got this issue two times and i think it's come again i edited the original reels in vn editor and add meterially edited text on top to get unique way of seeing the content but i think i won't work and i think it happen again so i just send a appeal and thought about starting a new page it got like 17k followers, what you say it just happen for one time should i delete the content and think like nothing happen should it help

IG now has a % threshold for determining if your content is a duplicate or not. This means that some things have to be adjusted in audio (apply a different background sound at 5%) and the video start, transitions, and end. Usually enough for me to not get flagged.
