IG account first or website first?

Hey guys,

I have another question.. What's the better strategy:

1. Start several Instagram accounts in different niches, gain followers and THEN create a website with articles and/or products to start making money

OR

2. Make the site first and then the IG account? Example, I build a site in the hiking niche and post several articles etc and then I create an account on IG about hiking to market the site.


At the moment I'm leaning towards option 1, because I could try out several niches/approaches and see what account works best aka gets most followers/engagement and then build a site, because if I built a site first and then I see that people aren't actually interested in the niche I'm losing a lot of time (and even money).

depends really about your money i think if you have the money to invest in.

Whichever one gets you actually implementing something is what you should go with. Realistically though option 1 is what you'd probably want to go with. Think about it this way, am I going to be getting traffic from Instragram (option 1) or am I going to be getting traffic from search (option 2).
