Hi all, I was just wondering how many people use IFTTT recipes to increase the productivity and make their lives easier?

I use one, where any link I post to Facebook automatically goes to Twitter too. Just a quick one to make things easier, and it doesn't auto shorten links or images etc.

Any others out there?

Yeah, to automate facebook postings. I grab from similar instagram pages.

Automatic posting in FB and manage it which is sounds good. like it.

I'm using incoming emails under different labels of a Gmail address to trigger Twitter posts, which trigger Tumblr posts.

Helpful ones:

To generate leads:

If Craigslist, then email (On gigs post)
If twitter, then email (Using proper search queries)

I use it as well. Zapier.com is a good alternative for more complex processes, but free version has its limits...

You can use it to alert if something is posted on reddit i.e, your website or certain keywords, or new posts in a subreddit

I am using some IFTTT triggers to communicate between my Echo Dots, Hue lightbulbs and Arlo security system. There's something enjoyable in walking out the door and saying "Alexa, trigger cameras", and having your security system's motion alerts activated ten seconds later, once I'm out of view.
