Iframe Prevent Keyword Tracking?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out 3 things:

1)Does using an iframe prevent keyword tracking?
I can't get n*everblue to track my keywords and i don't know if its my script or n*everblue.

2)If iframes are not a problem, what code do you use to track keywords?
I've tried a few php snippets in the iframe that didn't seem to work.

3)Does cloaking block keyword tracking too?

What do you mean by keyword tracking?

I'm sorry, by keyword tracking i meant tracking the SE advertising searched keywords to the subid of the affiliate links in the iframe.

For example, I'm using adwords to send traffic to my landing page, that directs to a rotating offer iframe. But when I check my CPA network user panel for what keywords are converting, it doesn't show anything. So I'm trying to figure out what I'm missing in the iframe script so keywords will dynamically insert themselves into the affiliate link subids. And so those subid keywords appear in the CPA network user panel.

Or a way to track your CPA keywords without the network knowing your keywords would be great.

Keywords are tracked by looking at the referrer. The page that is being loaded in the iFrame is seeing your landing page as the referrer and that doesn't have the query string parameter in it, which is used by tracking to tell you keyword stats.

You could try this: When someone clicks on your ad and goes to your landing page you could detect if the referrer is coming from google and grab the query parameter from it. Then refresh to your same landing page but with the query string parameter in the url. This SHOULD allow your keyword tracking to work.

I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you mean but I think I've done that.

The adwords destination url is: landingpage.com&subid={keyword}

The link on the landing page that goes to the iframe is url: iframe.com&subid={keyword}

And the affiliate links in the iframe have url: affiliatelink.com&subid={keyword}

Big G analytics shows the keywords inserted into the domains of the landing page and iframe, but it seems the CPA network losses track of the keyword query string somewhere, possibly in the iframe.

I'm wondering if the iframe php needs a special code snippet to insert keywords dynamically to the subid of an affiliate link within an iframe.

In the iframe at the end of each affiliate link, I've been told to put: &subid=<?PHP echo $tracking;?>

In the iframe at the top, I've been told to put:
<?PHP
$tracking=$_GET{keyword};
?>

But it doesn't seem to be working in capturing the keywords.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Do you know how to block CPA networks from getting the keywords too?

If you have any suggestions for how I could track the converting keywords for the offers in the iframe, it would be awesomely appreciated.
