I have joined some affiliate programs of SMS messaging companies, but it’s been difficult to gain quality customers.

What is your product or service? I supsoect a site about SMS messaging, or telephone, or tech, or marketing, would be the gateway to an affiliate offer. GEt people to singup to your mailing list, and send them recommendation bout this affiliate, and also place their banner ads on the site. I hope your not just trying to post name affiliate links in today's age? Its no wonder you don't probably get any sales.
