Guys stop updating Wordpress 5.5. When your theme isnt ready for it. Most of the plugins too aren’t ready for it. If you have auto updates stop it, if updated roll back to a previous version right away
If your theme is not ready for Wordpress 5.5 don’t update it.

Your computer will start to overheat and then the battery will blow up! Very dangerous stuff.

They may have updated some core functions in the latest update, functions which may not be up-to date in your previous themes + plugins.

Got backup from my hosting to roll back to yesterday files. Then stopped it from auto update.
Also in other site i had wp setup as backup before update to prevent this in future.

if the plugin doesn't work because of new WP version after updating, probably the theme is outdated or the PHP and other programming language don't support it. There 2 options, change the theme or back to the previous version. But I personally choose the 1st option, easy peacy!
