Very interesting post about a guy who sued google for the $721 owed from his Adsense account, and won easily.

lol I saw this post on BHW earlier on, what are the chances of even getting close to getting Google in court, what a lucky guy, bet he earnt a fortune in press earnings

Anytime you file a small claims suit the person either has to show up or they lose.

bizcredit, you are correct. If you sue G00gle in small claims court, they must either be present or they will lose. Where I live I can choose to sue them where they are or here. It is my choice, not theirs.

I hope people start doing it all over the country.

being this is blackhatworld, theres probably a reason why our accounts would have gotten banned ;) But as the Litigation Paralegal said, "The AdSense engineers had not told her. (Why his account was banned)" so until they set up a system of telling the their paralegals, I'm sure you could get money from a banned account even if it was something not so good. although I wouldn't suggest it.

This is the trick of the legal system. Google has very little legal ground of cancelling the accounts. If the holder has some legal knowledge, he/she will be able to file a small claim and get the money back. Google will not send a lawyer or a staff miles away to defend a claim of a few hundred dolars. The cost is overwhelming and bad publicity will be ambarrasing. this is the reason a small guy like us will win over a big corporation.
