If You Were Given The Opportunity...

If you were given two decent quality scripts, with domains that would be marketable for each respective business venture, and hosting that would accommodate each, would you pick:

A) A monetized link shortener with interstitial ads? (adfly clone)

or

B) A popunder ads network (popads/popcash clone)

Which do you think would be easiest to scale?

It seems to me there are millions of each of these, and every one of them seems to have 1m users (Ok maybe slightly exaggerating) before I've even heard of them - so it would appear the demand isn't going anywhere - what are your thoughts? (I'm aware that using an adfly clone as an end user to make money is a waste of time unless you run a download site and the network allows multiple views from the same IP, but still lol)

The second option for sure, more room to scale and definitely easier to come up with new ways to grow the business.

I'd go with option 1 and try to get the most of it and maximize its limited potential better than other shorteners. But years down the line I can see myself saying I'd pick 2
