Hello, I'm new here and have decided to start this journey whit the good old blog and affiliate. I will be buying a domain on Namecheap and shared hosting. My question is which one to buy as a blogger who is looking to gradually make some money the Stellar (3 websites 20GB SSD) or stellar plus (unlimited websites and SSD and Auto-backup tool)
The difference in cost is the plus one is 2 € more expensive per month. Fell free to share some experience in usage too. tnx in advance

I used Namecheap hosting for one year, today is my expire date. I would not recommend their hosting to anyone, yes it's cheap but it's slow as shit.

Dont buy domain and hosting from the same company.

The net is littered with people getting fucked doing that.

So if you have namecheap domain, get your hosting somewhere else.

Why not try digitalocean hosting? $5/month for starter, easily scalable once you need it. You can get a 100$ coupon on digitalocean when you signup with creditcard...

wpx hosting seems to be the best option for a wordpress site if you got the cash.

It is really fast and people with a lot more BHW street cred than me claim its the best.

Hostinger is a good super cheap option with good support so far but it is hosted in a tier 2 country ... not sure how much that matters

if u want to buy NC hosting wait till blackfriday, the stellar plus is only $4 for a year, but i agree with a few comment above, hawkhost is a good starter for beginner/new site without much traffic or u can buy digitalocean vps if u know how to manage a vps.

Namecheap hosting sux because they don't give you a free SSL. Digital Ocean is for developers, so unless you want to read manuals and spend your time building, breaking and debugging things than no way. Hostinger shared is actually cheaper for the year than DO and lets you pay with bitcoin, plus gives you a free SSL. You don't really need much resources for most blogs.

There’s one click Wordpress hosting lol what do u mean?

Yeah, one click for bare-bones functionality with no cPanel so that means SSH and command line configuration with everything from performance optimization from backups and emails. It's definitely cool to learn but $5 a month for hosting is not cheap in this day and age so if you want to develop your skills as a sysadmin cool but for a blogger-type person, better spend your time writing I think..

Haven't tried Hostinger, but I heard they're pretty good. Any folks here that would recommend this one?

I think people are really overrating the speed impact on rankings. Google has hinted after 1 second the impact starts to occur. Namecheap's speed is 500-750ms. The best hosting services average about 250-300ms. If you fill your site with large pictures, lots of unnecessary code and plugins, etc then that will impact the load time.

IMO You are better simplifying your site and it will load quicker than trying to find that 200ms saving by going with a more expensive host.

I would say just buy domain from namecheap for hosting go for bluehost or any other provider.

I used it for my blog, with $20 a year, I cannot complain about the speed, but if you have like $40 budget, do not go for them. The speed is super low.
Sorry for bothering but can you just write how much you made of your blog im interested and will you continue doing it?
