If I upload a large number of shorts per day, can this overall decrease net short views?

I uploaded 2 shorts one day and got decent views. Then I uploaded a lot more in one day and they seem to have less views overall. Not sure if this is a coincidence or if it's that uploading shorts faster decreases their potential in the algorithm
