If I reset my wordpress database, will that effect my SEO?

I wanna re design my site and decided I should just reset my wordpress database because I've made so many edits to the theme. All my plugins and themes got deactivated after the reset. Everything was backed up before the reset and I have copies of my pages and post content. My question is, will my rankings go down because of this reset or would they stay unaffected? Obviously I plan to re add my on page SEO and make my site looking good again as time goes on

The database is something Google can't access at all, all they see is the website as it shows in a browser for everybody not logged in. If the URLs, titles and content stay the same, rankings should be unaffected. The worst thing that could happen is a re-evaluation of the site if the code is significantly different, resulting in a few weeks of bumpy ranking before the site ranks as before.

If you change the content then obviously it affects the SEO ranking.
Content matters.

I have recently did a thing similar to that and it also involves moving to a new domain. Basically my ranking slowly get up to where it was before I moved the domain. READ: I changed the theme, front page contents but I kept the page slug the same. No 404 errors MUST be ensured.

No, reset of word press database doesn't down your ranking. Obviously, it doesn't have any connection with ranking factors.

But be aware when switching themes or changing SEO plugins. The biggest risk involved losing the SEO data like meta title, description, keywords, etc. It may affect your site's SEO rankings.

This ^

The people saying "google can't access the database" are missing the whole point. If the database reset caused your content to change, then yes it will have an effect on your SEO. Whether it's for better or worse though, remains to be seen.
