i know its bad to copy other peoples post but they are mine...I wanted to create another wordpress (for empienetwork) and copy the old posts from my old blog, onto my new blog.

can anybody explain to me how i would end up doing that without getting penelized by search engines?

not sure what that is but ill look into it

are you just wanting to migrate things over?

DO a 301 redirect first. THen go to your Webmasters tool and register for a domain change request.. Takes a month or so to complete the process..

@snort yes but if the blog post are on the other blog then they will be on both....so wouldnt it look like it was stolen in the search engines?

But you're also wanting to keep both sites live?

It will be interesting if he does that .. The only way i can think of is iframe..or..boom.. you r banned ;)

If you're just wanting to migrate things over and not keep the old site live, then this is very simple. Just export your files to your desktop and import them onto your new site.
