You can do anything legal - blackhat included :D

You have the ability to buy domains, web hosting, auto responders, shopping carts, etc - just the basics.

So, what would you do?

PS: Let's try to be serious and give real answers (LOL - B/C I can just imagine some of the jokes you guys would come up with)

I'd find an untapped niche, setup a merchant account, get a phone line and toll-free number, make a pretty website, make it irresistible to search engines, and setup a quick PPC campaign. I'd take all of the profits from the first few weeks and pump it back into SEO and PPC. If I made enough in the first month to hire on a full or part-time customer service rep, I would. I'd buy him/her a phone and computer and train them over the first weekend. I'd then spend my spare time developing relationships with other manufacturers of my product and try to get a better deal to increase my margins. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Being Ex-Military, i'd be inclined to start with breaking parts of your body. :D

Of course if you had insurance, there's your million.

Definately the niche route, something that is duplicative.
 
Niche route would not be fast enough imo...I would start a massive affiliate campaign and probably risk all the money that I use as my float, and if I screwed all that up...well I guess I would be dead :p...but that is an excellent question I need to act more like this
 
i would outsource to indians to rob a bank for me for a cheap price lol

I've seen sites go from launch with a budget of less than $10k to $1M in gross profit in less than 3 months. It's definitely possible if you know what you're doing.

I think alot of us would be better off financially if we were honestly given this situation. Stop us from reading eBooks and actually doing stuff.

soooo....I've got a gun, I wonder how quick my wife will put it to my head when I show her this thread.
 
That question would have been better with "you have to make a million with $10,000"

I would cash in every investment vehicle I own and show him a million, then go put it all back.

I would put up a "this guy is going to kill me in five months if I don't make a million dollars online" website. I'd have a pic of you looking like Sadam Hussein when he came out the hole to convince people you were crazy, blog about it daily, take donations - all proceeds going to charity, if I live, of course. Add CPM banners, and some "what should i do about this crazy dude thats going to kill me? Vote Now" zip submits b/c of course this site will get real popular real quick. When you came back 5 months later I would have something for ya, lol.

Hey does anyone have some type of mlm php script?

"give me $500 and I'll replicate you the exact same sh*tty website you're looking at right now!!!"

Then give away a huge chunk of the crappy e-book section as sign-on bonuses.

Generate a thousand idiot mlm buyers at $500 a pop, and sell their info to my friend the telemarketer. That should be about a mil.
 
I'd cry. Seeing as how I'm just getting started, and averaging oh about $1/day with adsense I'd be as good as dead. Will someone feed the dogs for me?
 
I would in turn put a gun to the head of each of the top five earners on the internet and make them generate 2million for me in three months. Not only will I have 9million after I give you 1 but I will be able to collaborate their methods and sell them for even more $$$$ after that. Hahaha.........if only I could!
 
I would get a 1 million dollar loan, give it to you, then declare bankruptcy.
 
i would put this story online and get some free publicity( web , tv, radio, etc)
hopefully people would donate that million, otherwise..... †
 
1 million bucks is a lot of money... it depends on how much money I have currently. I'd do different things with $1000 or $10,000. To make $1 million in 5 months with an initial investment of $1000 or $10000 you need some pretty fucking unique idea...I seriously don't know how could anyone make that much money without a unique, viral, money making idea.

I'd come here to Black Hat World and post about it, and then take the best ideas and run with them; enlisting help every step of the way.

Anything earned over the million needed to save my ass would go to cover expenses to those who helped me, with a nice donation to BHW.

Then I'd probably write an ebook about the experience and try to cash in on it ;-)
 
I'd outsource a second killer to kill the killer that's trying to kill me :D
