If AI can do everything perfectly, what role remains for us? This possibility feels both liberating and unsettling. What will still hold value when creation becomes effortless? Does this future excite or concern you?

AI can do a lot of things decent, but nothing it outputs is perfect. Especially with scripting/developing I’m always fixing small bugs in its output. I mainly use AI for framework buildup and then do the rest manually.

AI is the engine, but we are still the drivers. It can create fast, but it doesn't have the intent or the ability to take responsibility for the final result. That’s where our value remains.

There is always a job if you are looking for it.

Even if AI could do everything perfectly, like it can mimic understanding but cannot truly feel, be vulnerable, or share the stakes of lived experience. That gap is where human value lives through presence, shared vulnerability, and meaning-making. Any skill rooted in connection, trust, or understanding cannot be fully replaced by AI.

AI excels at execution, but human insight, strategy, and emotional connection will become the ultimate value, as we'll be the ones framing the right problems, building authentic brands, and making ethical decisions that machines can't - our role shifts from creators to visionary curators and strategists.

I think it’s just like when computers were invented - we all thought there would be nothing left for humans to do, and in fact yes, computers replaced millions of human jobs. But then what happened, we all leveled up.

I think the same will happen with ai - we’ll make use of it and level up. Ai + human will be a powerful combination. It’s just means we all have to level up and to adapt.

It almost never makes everything correct from the first try.

All these song generators, video generators, etc.

People are regenerating and regenerating, which takes hours and maybe days, until they get the okayish result. Then they share it and everybody else thinks that AI is like this everytime, but they don't see "behind the scenes", how much time was spent.

When I hear AI songs I get first positive impression of how well it sounds, but it still nowhere near when I start re-listening to it, learning lyrics, whistling it afterwards, as it is with real songs. Because it's a mastered mediocrity. Do you like mediocrity? Films, that get 4/10 on imdb (except some misunderstood ones or ones that get low rates because they go against current political agenda).

with a skyrocketing amount of divorces and plummeting birth rates, we are all going to the endpoint. the AI is just another nail in the coffin. enjoy the decline.

I just starting the freelancing in content writing a few months back and honestly this same question has been bothering me. Glad you brought it up.

Exactly this, very good comparison with the computer.

AI can't do everything, human should always supervising what AI generates. It just like you usually debug your AI generated codes.

ai replaces hands, it does not replace why's and that part is where we are still required

AI will eliminate 99.99% of people. Current overly optimistic estimates of the future have led to insufficient vigilance against AI. The development of AI is completely different from the Industrial Revolution; it will completely replace all human jobs, leading to humanity's extinction. Currently known things that AI cannot replace do not actually exist.
