I think you would take into considuation what links to it and how old it is and website traffic,plus its income also how much someone is willing to pay you

If its not violating any trademarks and if you are talking just about selling domains then it can fetch you 3 4k and maybe even more than the .com if marketed right and the name is pretty good. But cant say much until you tell the domain name. Also how many years ago was the .com sold? Depends on that too... But i suggest if the name is available then dont think just buy it if not violating any trademarks.

It doesnt look like its trademarked and its not really a real site. Its one of those that just has ads on it, no real content. I'm planning to use make a real site out of the .net and just keep it.
edit: i actually just looked it up on buydomains.com and its selling for about 19k actually, the .com that is. hmmm
