okay so is youtube owned by google?
when i go on to youtube the IE icon for youtube shows up ASK (jeeves)
when i go from page to page fast it redirected me to a google telling me i was a bot <what the hell is with that... (making me put security codes in to carry on...)
next time i did it it took me to ask.com ...

so is google part of ask? or what?

this is so confusing! what the fudge!

    *cries like a bitch*

sounds like dns poisoning, check your hosts file, might be a browser toolbar/hijacjk, also check for malware, make sure you are connected to a trusted network. if you have a router, log in and look around, if you can still log in, otherwise, hard reset it. my 2 cents

it may be, did it fix it? it's easy to know if it's a browser issue, just check if it happens in firefox too. if it doesn't = browser issue, if it does, then move one to the next possibility

Run spyware doctor on your computer.

I would definitely run some spyware programs on your pc and check your host files. You can also run a scan at trendmicros housecall.
