Idiots using paypal

I am using PayPal since 3 years 0 chargeback....

I think you are the victim of a hacker. Its well known that hackers steal the password for paypal, buy things with it and the real owner of the account would then make a chargeback.
Your digital good would be ideal to steal because its even more difficult to track the hacker down.
So I think you have no chance to get the money back...

I dont know what to do to prevent this. Maybe write the buyer a email before sending out the software so that he can confirm the buy? So that the real owner get a email?

Even if it were a hacker, I'm pretty sure PP limits the account when someone logs in with an IP address located in another country. Correct me if I'm wrong though..

Many of these hacks are made from hackers from the same country. They hack a forum, get all the passwords and are trying everything at paypal. Many
people use the same password for all forums and paypal, ebay and so on.
Or they buy it at some places.
Letting you send a Notebook to Nigeria when you live otherwhere occurs but most seller wont accept this for a reason. Its far easier to have an account from the country you live in. Because they often needs to take a mailing and they are standing at a wrong door to take the mailing. Travelling to another country for that wouldnt work good.

So I dont think that paypal would block somehow a different ip. Because you could choose a proxy or are on a trip or something.

But paypal of course can see different ips than before. Normally they are forced to transact the money back because the would be sued otherwise. But the seller wont get anything.

Sorry to hear that, next time tell them to send money as "Gift" it is nontaxable, and no charge backs.

Use LR or WU instead

I also sold a software to a person and once getting the software within 5 minutes he launched a complain to paypal that I took money illigally. This is really disgusting thing these days.

Use epassporte, once the money is sent it can not be disputed. It could backfire on the opposite end if you want to dispute but guess you just have to be careful. Epass is a lifesaver as an adult webmaster and i quit using paypal a lont time ago.
