Wow, that did suck. It's always hard to take someone seriously when they're wearing a cowboy hat.

Sadly that will probably get him elected because the majority of Americas have the IQ of my left shoe when it comes to politics.


They don't give a shit about the persons track record, their policies, possibly felonies, whether or not they take kickbacks from big corp, whether they care about civil liberties, whether they say one thing and do the other (like both the presidential candidates). None of that matters...

What does matter?

Could I see myself having a beer with this guy after a game of softball.

If the answer is yes, they will probably get the vote.

I've always liked Texas until George Bush took office.
He has been a very big discredit to Texans.

About 5 years ago, I was boarding a plane at Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta taking a girlfriend on vacation. We were going through security and she got pulled aside. We found out that she had a pair of high-end nail clippers with an extended, "knife-like" nail file. Long and short of the story, I lost my temper a little and a man in a cowboy hat and boots grabbed me by the shoulder and said, "Don't you know we eez fighting terrists right nowwww? Shooe bombs and things." and shook his head at me. I said, "You're from Texas, aren't you?" He said, "Why yes sir, I am." I laughed a lot and it made the entire day that much better. So thank you, Texas. Without your tasty brand of stupidity and sheepish behavior, I'd probably be locked up for assaulting a TSA officer.

Those TSA goons really piss me off sometimes.
