IDIOT tells google about GWT site removal exploit: Ultimate Blackhat Tool

If you found an exploit in Google Web Master tools that allowed you to remove any page, sub folder or entire domain from the google index when ever you want what would you do????

This fucking idiot just made a blog post and told google. What a waste.

Did anyone know about this?

Summary:
He found an exploit in the url removal tool that a part of GWT. Basically by medling with the URL you could request a page/folder/domain that you didnt own and request it to be removed. It then seems that even tho its meant to check for 404 and robots.txt it just went ahead and removed it anyway.

Imagine if you had that power.

i would have removed ANY website of the world until i ranked #1 for ANY search with the only result and then placed a link to bing (and stuff some cookies)

this was patched ages ago and actually when active went through a manual acceptance process. I know this because i used this.

Now you have a similar this where you can submit a dmca to google to ask to take down any site. But you have to be very good wit your reasoning

Regardless I don't have a doubt that Google's people snoop these forums. The good ol' Google site redirect/hijack that was shared on this forum is now "huge" news on how Google's testing for malware infected computers. Go figure..

I would inform Google immediately so they could fix it. I'm all for exploiting Google, but being Blackhat doesn't mean having no sense of morality. It's a way to beat the system itself and you definitely cross a line when you start tearing down other people's homes instead of building up your own.

Ethics may not pay your bills, but they do define who you are in this world.

I see so many people trying their best to bring down the rankings for competing sites so their site would rank higher. They should use their time on their own site, because who knows, their efforts to blacklist/lower the rankings of a competing site could have the exact opposite effect intended...

For me black hat does not mean stealing others. My strongest rival in my keywords is a friend or acquaintance. I only try to rise in google, not lower others. OFC rising does mean others are lowered but they got lowered because I was better not because I was bad.
Blackhat to me is about maximizing my chances by using most available means. Not all available means.
