Identifying Spun Content - How?

Say you just bought 100 unique articles from a freelancer for $5 each. The freelancer claimed that they are unique and self written, but how would you know he hasn't taken articles off the internet, spun them and then later claim them as unique?

i dont think he spinned them, but he might have rewritten some articles

if it passes copyscape i wouldnt worry too much

just pick 3 random articles and read them.

You can tell, no matter how good people say they are when it comes to spinning. To get to a certain uniqueness you must give a little in the grammer department

Yeah check if it makes sense + Run it through a Plagiarism Checker such as Copyscape or Dupecop.

I take a sentence, put it in quotation marks and google it.

If you find another site with the same sentence, or same 5-10 words, he's copied. If the content is junk, he spun.

Someone posted a link to UN.CO.VER last week, and I've been uusing it since then, it's a really nice plagiarism checker, very precise

i thought something like copyscape would have done the trick. As already suggested, also place some random text in quotes and search on G to make sure nothing similar is indexed.

About using quotes to search for a sentence in G, if the provider spun the article at sentence level, would you still be able to uniquely identify it?
