Hi I'll start off this thread by telling you guys a true story of how my younger brother got scammed and I nearly did.

They are from Nigeria and hearing a lot of similiar stories they pretend to be either buyers or owners of online lottery companies stealing thousands of people around the world.

Type in 'Nigerian Scams' on youtube and you'll see what I mean.

Anyways my brother got scammed off an ipod and they were still asking for more money afterwards.
I nearly got scammed for appartment rent when I was going to leave away from home.

Be careful of these I hear they are spreading everywhere even into dating sites and Facebook. So if say your friend asks you for some money transferred to them then thats a sign of their account being hacked into.

Let us know you experiences or names or email so we can play around and have a little fun with them if you want.

    Peace out

Because of the easy catch, they pretend to be a legit lottery site and give out there price. Ask for money to ship it toward you. That kind of things. To good to be true.

i have been recieving letters in my housel that i won milions since the seventies...

the online mail thing stil works for them i guess.
After showing them ferari,s lambo,s in real life and fake documents of oil..
many many many ppl are dumb and greedy enough to give them milions of investment capital
But this happens in the whole world as well, china for example

i knew this nigerian guy for a while after a year of knowing him he said he had a oil company and asked me if i wanted to buy oil
he gave me a very shitty looking site ,,,and when i googled the company it came out al was fake..lol

I get them all the time as I sell expensive items on CL. They want to send me a check and I wire the difference. I play the game and let them send me the check. I have about 50 of those checks on a bulletin board here and love their reaction when I tell them I am keeping all the money.

They always say they are going to call the FBI... I have fun with those scammers.

I 'win' the lottery at least once a week.

Well, at least now we know....and knowing is half the battle.

I agree that it started from greed from both parties, the scammers are always "hunger" for more while those who got scammed are often the ones who wants to grab free and easy money without any efforts ( other than sending the scammers ur hard earn cash)
