Identifies the generate links from primary tiers

I?m learning tier strategy, There is an option from primary tier to secondary tier, My doubt is Primary tier builds some contextual links, how the secondary tier identifies the generate links from primary tiers.
These two tiers functioning under which methods of philosophy?
Please guide me,

Tier 2 formed from tier 1, The tier 2 push the backlinks to tier1 I understand this, My question is how 1. can I see the links generated by tier 2,Where do the tier 2 pass the backlinks?

How do you see the links generated by tier 2 ?

Well you built tier 2 so there should'nt be any bonus links apart from the ones you are aware of. Even if you did get some external coverage the links are pointing toward tier 1 because thats the whole point ?

Obviously that answer would suit most of us but OP requires the Philosophical, Theosophical and Ornithological (Big Bird did it!) explanation.
