So I've recently started getting into scraping web 2.0 and re-registering them thanks to a couple guides posted here (thanks by the way). I was wondering what are some stats you typically look before adding these to your network? Right now I'm finding mostly Tumblr, Weebly, and Blog accounts in my scrapes.

For example I usually sort them by page rank and then check for page authority. I have come across a couple Tumblr accounts with high PR (2-3) but 0 page authority, does that mean they're no good?

Also, do you guys even check for trust flow? Or is that not too relevant when it comes to Web 2.0s?

Thanks in advance for any answers and sorry for the noob questions, scraping for these myself sure beats paying for them.

Go for PA/DA when it comes to web 2.0.
Just PR with PA is enough when going for web2.0's.

Thanks for the insightful answers guys. I know DA is already going to be high thanks to them being on high authority sub-domains.

I try to look for 30+ PA when filtering through the lists.

What are you're takes on Trust Flow? Do you take it into consideration?

Why are you orienting on PR? Just wondering, as I do not consider PR as a very important metrics these days.

It helps me spot the stronger expired web 2.0s better. I paste all the scraped domains in an excel sheet and start by organizing by PR. I go through all the PR1+ first and check out their PA score (30+) and how many links they have. When I find some interesting ones I do a quick check on the backlinks and make sure there's no spammy links (porn, drugs, Chinese websites).

After that I organize the remaining PR0 scraped domains by PA and look through those too. I generally find the really good ones are PR1 or higher BUT I have found some strong PR0 ones.

Now I'm just trying to figure out if Trust Flow plays a big part in it or not, since I haven't been able to find any high TF ones.

I just go with high PR ones in the past, but I'll consider PA too in future and see how it turns out in ranking my keywords. Great insights buddy.

I just look for PA/DA and back links...If they have TF/CF> 0 , that is a bonus!

Mostly sites with 30+ PA will have trust flow atleast of 5+, also make sure that the referring pages are from different unique domains.

What guides did you use in the process of learning how to scrape and register expired 2.0s?

I have tested this. I bought expired tumblrs with High PR and some have NO PA. And also bought some with no PR but high PA.
Build them up and they bought rank well. After a few T2s, the High PR tumblr got 25+ PA.

So keep building... Meanwhile, if you done filtering, you can send me the rest :D
Thanks!

Right now I'm using Expired Domain Gatherer, I followed their video guide on their main website and am finally getting the hang of it.

If you want a free alternative check out the guide from DripApps using Gscraper

I can post links yet so just google "DripApps find expired web 2.0" and you'll find the video. You can use Xenu Link Sleuth to check if they're available

Wow don't know why I didn't think of building T2s to the Web 2.0s. Appreciate the tip my dude!

In case of web 2.0, PA matters which must be 25+ Don't leave the blog having PR 2 but 0 PA, just use them as tier 2 or put some unique content on them without web link they will get the PA back after some time. If possible, then build some links for them as well to maintain the PA.
