Hey guys.
So here's an idea I've had, I am posting it here in order to receive your feedback (I am pretty new to the affiliate marketing sphere)
The idea is as follows:
1) Find an affiliate marketing of your interest
2) Find keywords you could rank that affiliate product for (local keywords, normal global keywords, keywords in other languages, etc)
3) Buy an article in a high DA newspapers or magazine targeting those KWs you found. Add your affiliate links in the article.
The article you paid for will most likely rank for the said keywords, thus it will attract traffic (it will also receive internal traffic from the usual readers of that media/newspaper). Some of that traffic will click on your affiliate links and convert, on a regular basis.
What do you think about this idea? Do you think newspapers would accept these sorts of links? I know they accept do-follows (indeed, I have a database of +2000 online magazines and newspapers selling do-follows), however, I don't know if they would accept an affiliate link. Because what's the point of them accepting it if they could just put their own affiliate link instead?
