If I have an idea for a mobile app where could I go to get it made? And How do I make sure whos making it doesnt steal the idea?

find a virtual assistant-freelancer, or learn to code it your self depending on how complex the app is if your worried about some one stealing your million dollar idea

I know that if you have a idea really generated for the first time by your self, there must be a way to register with proper authority in your country. You can make any experienced personnel as evident by notification.This will confirm the safety of the merit.It will be compared it and be registered.Many companies (as Apple)helps to register it and if they think it profitable,could buy it.

Made it yourself if you want full security or as darkhat said

for making the app hire a freelancer or post in freelancer section

If you are in the US, get a developer in the US and get a NDA (non-disclosure agreement).

Yes, sign an NDA. Most development companies already have a pre-signed NDA form, you just have to ask them to send it to you.
