Idea for ebay Sellers

Hey came up with this idea I wanted to share that may help bring in a couple extra sales for some.

Basically have an item for 7day sale. Then inside that auction description say something like " Don't want to wait? Check out the Buy it Now listing of this product" Basically playing on peoples want and need for instant gratification.

Have also seen on ebay stores they now are able to link to other auctions they have in their store. Ebay Store Example

Just wanted to share my thoughts for those who could get value.

Im curious, wouldn't you get fee both items ? the one you have listed as an auction and the one with the buy it now ?

If customer buys one you get hit with one final value fee. Since they have 100 free auction listings and 200 free fixed price listings if you have a eBay store, the listing cost will be minimal unless you are doing a very large number of listings.

It's a nice idea. I prefer to let the listing completely focus on your item

You can then use selling manager pro's email marketing feature to send your buyers additional products that correlate with their purchase.

It is easy to setup that listing? I mean the coding stuff on that links?

I am unsure. I have noticed it more lately. I would bet a program does it for you.

Of course you can do it but that needs to be coded plus the pictures need to be uploaded somewhere etc I have had it done but all those listings need a really professional touch. Optimization of listings is really not that important if you have low sales or low margins.

Seems like an alright idea, but people aren't really that attentive on ebay, or so it seems
