Just an idea- have people enter a competition in a particular method from scratch- see who can make the most $ after say, one month. The winner can get something like a special membership, with a great deal learned along the way by all. Would this be doable? Perhaps it's been done here before, but I've been here some years and haven't noticed anything of the sort.

The problem with these contests is they end up revealing the techniques, which most pros won't agree to.

Seems like its a good idea. op should addess the moderators about it and ask if possible.
I guess what I had in mind was some of the legends, perhaps looking for something on the side to test their skills, those without much to lose from doing so. It would go outside their main sources of income. It could be like the Olympics- "BHW Games"- pros only, running the 100 yard dash, with everyone else cheering on.
But yeah, without support from some of the heavy hitters, I think we can safely expect this idea to die a quick death.

That would be a great idea and the winner or top3 will get like exec VIP membership.
Like an SEO contest. White to greyhat only since if done blackhat would rank fast and everybody or mostly can done BH, there won't be any challenge by then. Mods will be examine backlinks created just to be sure no BH has been done.
Winners will surely gain reputation. I don't know what benefits could admin and mods will have but by marketing this contest outside of BHW it could attract new members and could attract more quality members and will benefit BHW in all aspect.

Okay, so out out of Nichat, DHSellerUK, and CEOSam, who do you think would win?
Well it is quite obvious, which ever one of them gives their income figure last. Lets say Nishat starts of with his much loved IM bog standard income lie of $30,000, then DHSellerUK is going to have to raise him on that, DHSellerUK is now only left with one option, and that is to use the second most overly used IM income lie of 100k a month. At this point CEOSam is going to get a little worried, both the standard lies have been used up, he starts to think he will be called on his shit if he raises DHSellerUK, but he has no option, so CEOSam wins the comp by firing off the lesser use $250k a month lie.

Good idea - could be like, make a ebook and publish it on Amazon and the one that has the most downloads wins free Jr. VIP or if they are already Jr VIP get promoted to what ever comes after that or something else.
Or who can get the best rank for a competitive term in 21 days.
Or who can build a business offering a service to local people (business or non) and reach $1k profit the fastest.
