Idea for apps?

I am wondering If build simple apps, for dating sites that dont have 1, is a good idea.

I have checked some niche ones and look like they dont have 1, I may be able to squeeze in the affiliate link?, in case people update to a paying profile?

Do you think is a good idea?

That could work. Offering an app to the dating site for free would be tempting for them.

As far as the affiliate link, not sure how effective it would be.

You could build into the app some functionality the website didn't have, say a geolocation tool. When the app pings the user that a match has been found for someone close by, maybe they would need to update to paid status before they could view the matches.

Your pitch to the dating site could be that your app's functionality results in more conversions, something they would surely be interested in. An affiliate deal for those conversions would possibly be more appealing to them.

basically can work on any site with good engagement where people come back often.

Dating sites can have apps for their users & subscribers base.

The app helps to beat other competitors in your niche & get you your own ranking in a natural form.

Im pretty sure that video games make the most money by far. Why not just build a game and monetize directly via in app purchases (freemium monetization model). Can also have an offer wall with ads too. The upside is if your game is a hit you now have a brand to build on and all sorts of collaboration deals can really expand one's horizons; in an extreme example temple run partnered with disney but there are all sorts of collaborations going on all the time with indie game developers.

A dating iphone app could have a real success .
Free for all and some affiliate links in the bottom or as a pop up would be a lovely idea.
