Currently looking for a weekend project, had this idea.

The idea
Creating a simple real-time commenting addon for scrapebox. In other words, this piece of software would directly integrate into scrapebox or run along side scrapebox, automatically extracting keywords from any given blog page, find contextual snippets of text and transform them into comments. All of this would happen in real time while scrapebox is sending out comment requests.

Does something like this exist already? Would there be any interest in this type of tool?

Cheers

Got it - it's called "ultimate comment scraper" by IMDevin

Scritty

Isn't that just a simple comment scraper?

What I was talking about is a tool which would do some NLP of each blog post about to be commented on, tokenize and extract keywords, grab related comments (this is what "ultimate comment scraper" does) then automatically feed back new comments to scrapebox.

Difference here would be all of this would be contextually related to a specific page and would happen in real time.

Hope this made sense.

I'd like to hear more. Sounds creative, and I don't think many people are grasping the idea.

Ha!
I'm looking for exactly this as well.

Someone hit a couple of my sites recently with some brilliant comments. Obviously automated to my trained eye, but definitely would pass 90% of blog owners. The comments were definitely scraped from what looked like news sources. Current "headline" type event and then a sentence about the event. perfect!

Whats more, the comments looked like they were posted "on the fly", because they were so damn relevant to the post.

The URL linked to some shitty spun wiki so there is not a chance someone would have hand written the comment. It was automated for sure.

Where can I get this?! I know you know ;)

PM me if you don't want to post..

Cheers,
w0rmz.

Need more on this. Gophering hit me up Skype to discuss this project as well as the GSD.
