{idea}Affiliating for my Dad's company

An idea, but have no knowledge of what old school face to face salesman think of IM in this sense;
My dad's the GM for a company where I live that sells a service which delivers to its customers 2 times a month. It's a nationwide operating company with VERY LITTLE online advertising. I think they just go by word of mouth and door to door still!!
I could do something as simple as advertise on local classifieds and advertise my dads company's service for his area.Adds directing the calls to him, have him set up the face to face and have his sales guys close the deal. Asking %50 of the "sigh up bonus" considering they become reoccurring customers at purchase.
Think %50 is reasonable? Will it be looked at as "spamming" in this sense.
What are your thoughts?

My dads office alone takes in over $1M a year, with other offices having routes in every city in America. Its a THRIVING company/industry, giving this SOO much damn potential.
My idea is sort of Low scale but it's VERY VERY high competition so it's a start.
Im surprised no one has any thoughts..

It is not too rambly, just sums it all up.

• %50 sigh up bonus sound fair to ask for with a company that does not do this stuff sound reasonable?
• More because they are reoccurring customers?
• Less because it looks like spam?
• Etc.

Someone have other thoughts, expansions, Etc..
