What are your thoughts on the actual earnings of YouTubers from ad revenue? Many YouTubers tend to keep their ad revenue figures private, often attributing their income to brand partnerships and sponsorships. However, even those YouTubers who do not have brand deals or sponsors seem to experience a significant and rapid change in their lifestyle.

I check socialblade then estimate from it. Around it, more or less.
 
I have little faith in the accuracy of Social Blade. Even for my channel with just 40 subscribers, the site claims a daily view count of 5,000 which is not true.

The smaller the channel, the less accurate the estimation would be.
Many larger YouTuber are referencing Social Blade, so I assume it has some sort of accuracy.
YouTuber's RPM changes based on niche and the geo of the viewers, obviously.

Earning vary widely depending on channel niche, audience and efforts of creator.A good lifestyle or a significant positive change in youtuber lifestyle definitely indicates that they are doing well.

Some earn more from revenue while others more from sponsorships. It depends on channel niche.
 
I spend minimum time checking earnings, and more time working to improve my own, I'm not back in the revenue program again yet, so I have to keep plugging away with videos, and that's what I'm doing, and improving, I don't care about the rest. Its about my upload and creativity inputs, that makes the difference to my earnings.
 
I can tell you this, Social Blade is so off when it comes on to the financial niche. The CPM/RPM is way higher than what's on social blade.
 
Some YouTubers have reported earning much more than $0.018 per ad view. The YouTuber MrBeast has said that he earns an average of $0.30 per ad view. This is significantly higher than the average, but it is important to note that MrBeast has a very large and engaged audience, and his videos are typically very popular.
