Hello, greetings and namaste,

I've been running an ad for a dentist on Google for the past 45 days and embarrassingly enough I've been charged 51 cents so far. I want to know what's lacking and how it can be optimized.

The Ad is pretty "standard" - it aims to lead people ( who are looking for a dentist in the selected region) to call and schedule an appointment with the dentist. It contains the name of the dentist, the town he's working in and has some other basic dental words like, "Tooth pain", "Dental check-up" and "Schedule an appointment".

Here are the metrics:
  • Since April 1st it's had 243 impressions (with a peak of 68 impressions on April 28th), 2 clicks, 0 call clicks, and 0 map clicks
and well, that's it.

I'm not entirely sure what's the problem.

One thing I can think of is that maybe in this particular region, people don't much use Google to look for a dentist.

Any thoughts, ideas, and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thanks

While I'm not particularly knowledgeable in the field, one possible explanation here could be a drop in demand for dental services due to Covid-19. Who knows, maybe people are just very wary of going anywhere near needles and stuff these days, thinking that these kinds of environments might be infectious...

Not a bad idea. Thank you
