Anyone with experience of a VPS provider in Iceland? I need it for use to access PayPal, and I don't want virtual IP.
Windows OS will be preferable

Thanks

Hi,

VPS in Iceland is a requirement? You can use other tools to use paypal.

We dont have Windows based VPS however you can install RDP on a Linux based server

Sorry, I didn't know that you didn't have Windows. I supposed that you offer Windows in Dedicated servers, I also supposed you do that in VPS.

Continue with great work of freedom of speech :)
Cheers.

To much of a hassle for VPS. The dedicated ones come without license so its up to the customer about that.

Thank you, we will keep gong :)

Highly recommended NetShop-isp.com.cy web host. I also liked their cpanel control panel better than other control panel interfaces I have used.
There are so many useful features which are included into the hosting plans.
You didn't even read the question of the author of this post, he wants a VPS, he doesn't need web hosting. Moreover, he wants windows.
cPanel is only used for web hosting

Aaaah finally Flokinet on BHW!

Since BHW is Whitehat, Flokinet is here as well because they kick and ban all the Blackhats :D

If you are saying mean words on the Internet which hurt people's feelings, they will ban you without listening to your side.

Nope, not true.

Yes, it's true. You follow Iceland laws and those of the EU for your EU servers. Iceland and the EU have the harshest anti free speech and anti-"fake"-news laws. Those laws are not compatible with US free speech laws. And you stated multiple times that you "follow laws" - yeah, the ones that have "anti hate speech" laws which means if you criticize the wrong country, you're getting kicked.

Remember the "covid" "vaccines"? Anyway. You are no different than any other EU hosting but you're worse as you make political leftwing statements ("Trust the science") on your blog and the you/the CEO's social media on X and the other is full of leftwing pro-censorship propaganda. People could save the money and just look at some random Netherlands hosting provider and will be better off.

Nope, not true. If you compare it to the US yes, if you compare it to the rest of the world not at all. Iceland has excellent laws on freedom of expression.

Nope. Hate speech laws do not apply to a country, they only apply to natural persons (unless you operate in some dictatorships like Russia)

Remember the "covid" vaccines?
During the peak of the pandemic, Romania banned false information about vaccines / masks, so the term for the location Romania was added untill the law got removed.

Many platforms that EU and US based providers have banned and would never touch ended up with us, causing us to be in the US Special 301 report. I think that speaks for itself.

However we are moving offtopic here :)

First, have you tried Tor or even just a free proxy server?

If you must go the VPS route, Windows is far, far better than Linux when it comes to Remote Desktop (when there's a GUI involved). You can tweak Remote Desktop to get near 60fps frame rates, but, coming from Iceland, it'll probably be much choppier. Still, it shouldn't matter that much for web browsing.

Honestly, any VPS host in your target country will do. Just set up Remote Desktop properly.
