I would like to know what I am doing is correct. Help Please.

So, I am going to lay out exactly what I am doing, and ask that you let me know if what I am doing is correct. As you will see I am taking action, but I want to know that what I am doing is how it should be done.

1. I set up my money site. This the site that I want the backlinks to point to. This site will be called moneysite. The moneysite has 5 pages right now. About 2% kw density and all tags are filled in. I have a site map and google analystics installed. I am pretty sure the site is ready to go.

2. I am building blogs that have to do with my "niche" I have 5 so far. We will call them blog1 - 5. The purpose of these blogs are to provide informatin about the niche and also provide a backlink for the money site. I am also using these blogs to provide backlinks to some videos but that is another subject.

3. I am submitting 1 article per day to Ezine articles. The resource box has my name "not real" and http://moneysite.com. I am using the articles for backlinks.

That is about it for now. I also have a list of places that I am going to put backlinks. Here are some questions that I have.

1. When I am putting a backlink on one of my blogs to my money site, should I just put the link to my site - http://moneysite.com or shoud I make it a clickable link with anchor text that are niche related?

2. My blogs are indexed. When I want google to pick up that there is a new backlink on my blog to my money site, do I just ping my blog?

Those are the two questions that I have. Also, If I am doing anything wrong or you see room for improvement please let me know. I have read and read and read, and now I am taking action, just asking for a little help to make sure I am going it right.

I will also be using this as kind of a journal to keep track of what I am doing.

1) You should use anchor text... Keep variations in anchor text... I keep 40-60% my main keyword and rest of the time I use 3-5 other related keywords...

2) You can ping them or can wait for search engine to cache it...

Strategy is good, you may make more blogs, can use ezine's 2 links ( 1 for money site and another for blog) so blogs also get more back links and thus getting more authority which will boost link juice going to your money site from those blogs...

I agree with bizroot, always use anchor text. In the early days certainly bring a diversity to your anchor text but don't get to hung up on the percentages. Each niche is different and specific percentages in terms of diversity can be misleading - just experiement airing on the side of your choosen keyword.

A good tip to index your backlinks or announce new content is to open up a Posterous account along with all the other associated linked accounts (twitter, facebook etc). Whenever you post a new article you can simply make use of the chiklet and bookmark your new article (and the backlink to your money site) to all of your accounts within Posterous. To keep the account regulary visited by spiders simply throw a big G hot trend into the account each day - it works wonders for backlining those backlinks and is free....

As for building links to the blogs/moneysite. How many would you suggest per day. Say that I put up a brand new blog today. Is 10 a day about right or can I go with a few more. Also, how many days until I can bump it up a bit.

I do have a team mate that is super fast at reading and leaving great comments for the backlinks.

One more question - What backlinks have the most weight? I have read that in content backlinks are the best, meaning a backlink in the middle of a page talking about your nichce.

The quantity of links in my view is not really an issue in the long term. What is critical is the frequency that your site receives them. Big G will be looking at spikes which in effect indicate a spike in popularity. It will therefore reward the page for as long as it continues to receive links. If the link receiving starts to slow then so will your popularity until such time as you are considered 'authorative' when your placement begins to become more stable. In other words, build what links you can consistently to your target page. Short bursts and then nothing will not help you much in the long run.

Regarding your second point, yes, backlinks surrounded by relevant text will be treated with more creditability than a simple ' thanks for the post'. It is well known that big G identifies the content and context which surrounds links therefore placing your link within well written relevant content is only going to help.

So if I can build a steady 15 backlinks per day, then stick with that number. That makes total sense. Maybe change it up a little per day like 12 - 20?

Another question that I have is - Do links to different pages on my site matter?

Example would be - Content of my page 1/2 way down I have to tell them to go to Page3. So I put anchor text for the page, like an offsite backlink. does that count for anything?

Yes, what you are trying to replicate is the impression of natural linking therefore changing it up to create this impression is important. Internal linking is also important to spread your home page link juice (once you get it) and relevant text links to internal pages help these inner pages to be indexed and ranked. When writing content always ensure that if you refer to something for which you already have content, link to it. Just don't overdo the internal linking though, 1-2 links at most.
