"I will get back to you"

Whenever I get this type of response, I know the chance of returning is 20%
Do you often receive this line of response from potential clients and how do you handle them?

I will get back to you with a reply. BRB.

Anytime i get, Let me talk to my team
I zero my mind

4/10 times "will get back to you" means "I am not interested. But I don't know how to decline politely"

Tried sales for a shortwhile. The number of people who don't know how to say "no" is astonishing.

The remaining 6 times, it's either "i need times to make a decision" or "I just want to waste your time".

Yours might be one of the guys who dunno how to say "no". They are prolly not interested in what you are offering.

If you were like me, too underpaid to pursue a close. Just send a follow up and forget about them if they don't reply.

Ya i get that mostly from people that expect you to do a shitload of work for close to free. And they get surprised when you actually give them realistic price, as its not what they have expected.

With cold emailing it's almost never a good sign but if it's a targeted prospect they might really need more time to think or talk to superiors. You never know for sure if they truly need more time or they just want to avoid you.

same here.

either way, I will not put my mind on it.

Yes, the serious ones will not mind ordering straight away

I use this phrase when i am too lazy atm to take action , just need to know the service works So dont come to conclusions too early

Nothing to worry about, either move on or call him in a couple of days if you really want the customer. There are a lot of fish in the sea, with the right bait, you´ll catch another one.

Sending automated response emails is always a good idea. I have an email template ready to go that I que to send unless I get an email from them in the meantime. I allow myself to forget about them until the respond, and I'll often get a response to the follow-up email. Even if it's a no, it's new information.

This is better than no response, for sure. At least you know they've got the email (not ended up in spam), they bothered to read it and put in some effort to reply.

Make sure to gently follow up and check in on them. That also increases your chances.

"I will talk to my partner and get back to you"

"you're not my type" OR "let's just be friends" kind of thing imo.

In a professional environment.
I always say "Leave it with me".
Always works and never really had issues.
Then again, I always do follow ups even if its bringing some "i need a bit more time" or "negative" news
