ps5 and m.2 drives went up in price due to the memory war cost.
i even bought a 5tb usb western digital black for storing ps4 games
to play on ps5 in 2022 and that cost £99 - same product 2026
is now £160 - the memory wars are real

my 3 yr old ps5 went up in price £70 since i bought it
my 2 yr old 4tb m.2 drive went up in price by £ 260
my 4 year old 5tb hard drive went up in price £60

all the same model and brands.
