I want to switch from using a VPN to using a proxy through Shadowrocket, and then use my social networks from there. What is the best way to do this? How many days is it better to wait? Is it better to log out or delete the social apps altogether? Basically, how can I do it so that the system doesn’t suspect anything?

Just buy a proxy from the country that was on the VPN and that's it. Don't worry, you can log in and use it right away, no need to wait.

Switching from VPN to proxy: the "normal & safe" way
Turn off VPN completely
Use a real network for a while
Enable proxy in Shadowrocket (if really necessary)
Should you log out of or delete social media apps?
Don't delete apps just to "avoid suspicion"
This doesn't help, and sometimes it can have the opposite effect.

As long as you’re picking the same country/region in terms of IP you should be fine, just make sure you’re using a clean proxy with no prior (ab)use. Also keep IP the same after you change it from VPN > proxy for as long as possible.

I’d be careful here. Switching network setups to avoid detection is exactly what platforms watch for. There’s no safe timeline or trick that guarantees you won’t get flagged. The safest route is consistency. One device, one IP type, normal behavior.

No need to delete or to uninstall apps, neither log out. Re-logins cause issues so I advice you to not do it. Just switch the connection and open app. Just scroll a bit in the first day, maybe watch some stories and that's it. Then starts slowly engaging with content and you will be fine.

Be sure to go with a quality proxy, personally I advise against anything that's not mobile proxy so be carefully with that and also if you've used a country, be sure tp use same country for the proxy, it will make the transition easier. It can go wrong ofc, but that depends on multiple factors.

Myself I just switch the connection and open the account, no relogin no uninstalls. The algo will update itself on the new location so no need to do gimmicks.

Yes, it’s safe. Just switch to the proxy, stay logged in, and use the accounts normally.

You can use any 4G proxy; just make sure it is a rotating proxy so that you can get new IP's between each rotation.
