I want to setup my own proxies, but I don't know what software to use... I don't want to use one of those web proxy scripts. Instead, I want a real proxy that I can use within my browser's network settings.

im not sure if i understand you correctly, anyways if you already have proxies, do what origin wrote
if you don't have any and would like to create some, then here ya go, it's a detailed guide how to create your own private proxy with video tutorial written by myzona:

Well, I get proxies here and there, but I want to setup my own, just like then one you showed in that other thread... However, the guy said, he would show us a way to only use cPanel (for people who don't have shell access). Do you know where that tutorial would be? I read the entire thread and he didn't show that one.

Thanks a lot.

use the command shell option in cpanel and use commands he listed on the page
