I want to SEO an educational website

First of all I apologize for my bad English. Currently, I am SEOing a website in the field of educational enrollment. Currently, I still post content every day and have rankings on pages 1 and 2. But my main keyword that needs SEO is not at the top. What should I do next? I'm creating a set of social links to link back to my website to increase authority.

Check the competitive score of the main keyword and analyze the top competitors & get insight from it. Try to replicate their backlinks and content structure so you can crack top rankings for easy-to-medium keywords. For hard ones, put more effort into every aspect than competitors.
 
Analyze your Keywords with your competitors build backlinks to them and keep promoting your content on social medias

Keep your site as much as Perfect in ON page SEO

Start creating quality around that specific keyword and also do a competitor analysis by putting SEO content, followed by great FAQ section

Optimize your pages for the targeted keywords by including them in the title, header, meta description, and content. Use variations of the targeted keywords, such as long-tail keywords, to indirectly boost your primary keywords and Then, start building links from niche relevant, high quality sites.
