I want to patch/crack a desktop app/software

The title pretty much says it all.

I am NOT looking to hire here or requesting this type of service. I just would like to know if some of you have requested this type of service before and from who.

Are there online communities where I could hire someone with that particular talent?
How much that type of service usually go? I know it might depend on the complexity of the app/software but, I would like to know on average, based on your experience.

Not doubting them or anything.
But one would think, they know how to upload their own favicon.
Idk, tiny details like this puts me on my toes

I contact them and they´re charging me $500 to create a duplicate of Sitebulb with no restrictions and all the Pro features. The Pro license costs I believe $375 per year.

So they are charging you $500 per year? That makes no sense..

Well, it can make sense. If they patch the app for a one-time $500 fee, you can use it endlessly without caring about yearly fees, so from the second year it will worth it.

Try this: tell them, that you want to use it just for a few projects now and the yearly plan costs only $375. Unless their price goes below that, there's not too much to consider.

Yeah, they told me it was a one-time fee and I was getting access to lifetime support.

They don´t patch it or even crack it, they create like an "exact copy" of the software but take away the need to authenticating the license.

It surely makes more sense now.
