I WANT TO LEARN WEB DESIGN

If you don't have basic knowledge regarding web designing, would recommend to get at least basic idea using free sources ( YouTube ), after getting a basic knowledge, you may go for paid web designing course, check the reference and reviews, choose wisely :)
THANKS A LOT. I REALLY APPRECIATE

that's what make two sides of the same coin. you need both to create websites.

And you are not doing it alone.
OP asked for Web Design (UX/UI) and people answer with Web Development-related sources.

If I asked how to create a house plan, I wouldn't want to receive an answer "how to putty, paint and select cement."

to start my own business, the main purpose is to make money online, thats through my own blogsite or affiliate marketing, i have no knowledge on them so i need a mentor who can guide me
In that case, you don't need to learn photoshop, check out the canva https://www.canva.com/, it's very intuitive and you can make 95% of your designs here.

I think coaching/mentoring is forbidden here.

Also, the internet is literally filled with great tutorials around coding, programming, and web development.

Lastly, there are ways to get into Lynda and/or to download Udemy courses for free if you find someone in those platforms that interests you.

Cheers!!

have enroll in some free courses from udemy and also local school here but i still have problem, i want a mentor who will be guiding me and also te4aching me
thank you for your reply
Then free training will not suit you, if you want a personal mentor - you need to pay

WordPress is not web design. Jesus :)

There are steps you need to follow.

1. Learn CSS
2. Learn HTML
3. Learn basic PHP (helps)
4. Learn basic Graphic Design (helps)

Web design is actually a very broad topic that includes graphic design, development, content management system integration, copyrighting and content presentation. I think where you start depends on what you are trying to achieve and also what skills you have coming into this (What I mean by that is, where you are most likely to excel in this area, based on your existing knowledge of computing and web technologies).

For me personally, I am a practical learner and my advice would be to get yourself a domain, hosting and a WordPress theme. With a decent theme from somewhere like ThemeForest, you can put together a fully functional website just being guided by the theme documentation. That will get you started on the path to learning how web design works, then you can expand your knowledge from there.

Web Design is mainly related to designing and maintaining websites. You can get online information about this course also.

You'll find tonnes of tutorial on YT
Udemy courses are optional

I support the opinion that web design is a very broad concept. For design, you can use figma, an easy and simple tool, and then create a website in WordPress, you can use an elementor to customize the theme.

There's also a part of you that has to be creatively gifted with a vision in some form if you want to become an outstanding web designer. That's why most developers excel in backend work but suck in frontend and just use frameworks like bootstrap and other ready-made themes.
