I want to know about google dance

Hi,

I have one website abc. It was listed 1st page in Google for medium and high traffic keywords. But, One day suddenly my site gone to 50th page for most keywords. Some peoples said, it's Google dance. I want to know what is Google dance. Why site gone suddenly 52nd page? Someone says, it'll come back previous position. But, my site is in 52nd page for past 2 weeks. May i know, what's the issue and when keyword will be back it previous position. I done only white hat seo methods, like directory submission, social bookmarking and article submission (unique articles).

Please assist me.

Google dance is like a period of time in which Google used to rebuild its rankings. As a result of this rebuilding, rankings of Web sites on Google's SERP may fluctuate in order during a several day period. However in 2003 Google begun updating its index on a weekly basis, which all but eliminated the Google Dance. So what may have happened to you is a "Panda Dance" lol
 
The Google Dance still happens, although not as much as it used to happen up until 2003. There is less movement now in terms of sites dropping off the front page, but you can be downranked by a major update like Panda or Penguin before it. You may have suffered from the weekly update or from the big ones, but the former seems unlikely given how big the change was. I'd check your backlinks, and see if any (or how many) of them have been penalised, and see if traffic from a specific source has slowed down.
Two weeks is not unheard of for a rerank due to update to correct itself, but I'd still check what you can.
 
I'll tell you about my experience and not with Ctrl C and Ctrl V. Google dance makes webmasters think that they're at a great position on SERPs and they'll stop building links - and if they do, your site will go down deeply. It lasts for 1 week. You can jump back if you start building links again.

some days google is drunk and cant decide what position to give you
and sometimes you push too many links in your backlink profile, this causes dance.
 
That's a penalty dance. Google dancing usually is for newer sites/ thin sites in my experience.
 
there is no way of telling if you don't tell us what all you did leading up to this point

If you've done white hat methods only then you need to start diversifying your keywords.
