I want this domain bad

I have a domain that I desperately want, I check the Whois and it is own by a pretty big black hat SEO company/figure. They are parking on the domain for SEO purposes and I contacted them to see if I could make a deal to get the domain. They responded that they wanted a high five figure payment for the domain. There is no way I can pay that so is there any other way I can get the domain, like wait until the registration expires or something?

If they own it they can sell it for what ever price they ask. Wouldn't you? Wait to see what happens when it comes times to expire but if it's making them money then they will most likely renew it.
 
Go visit a domain blog to see how domainers think. If they are quoting you 5 figs you won't get that domain for cheap & it probably won't drop. But search for the domain in quotes & see if it was ever offered for sale.

Move on. Now that they know your interested they will most likely renew it. :(
 
Well there are ways... You can threaten to sue them... make up a story and say how the domain is copyrighted or you could say its racist or something... it all depends on the domain.
 
Backordering only works when the current owner doesn't pay the renewal after a certain amount of time. If they are looking for 5 figures plus, I think they would be alright paying the $10/yr to keep around. Just a thought. Good luck though.
 
Hmm, you will have to make friends with them, mate with their women, and in time, the domain will be yours ;)
 
I found this website called facebook.com, it loks pretty big and i tried contacting them to buy the site but i cant get any response? Anyone know how I can get it?

they sold me facelol.com for 10bucks!
 
let's face it.there is no way to grab that except buy it.Since you say it is valuable,i am sure they are not going to let that expire.So,better look for some other domain.

Is there any amount you CAN pay for it? Like they want 5 figures, you offer $X,XXX and hope for the best. Its very hard to turn for a few grand in cash money sometimes. They could be a 15 year old kid messin around.
 
Its legally impossible to obtain a domain that someone else owns until he will to sell it to you or the domain drops. :) And illegally, you know well. :D
