I miss seeing the thank yous too but it was a 3rd party modification and these things have exploits. What we can do is turn the reputation into a "Thank you" button and "No Thank you Button". If you guys agree I will have my programmer set it up so it's in a similar place as the old thank you button.

Who cares. You don't need a thanks button to know people are grateful.
If you need someone to tell you thanks every time you share something, just don't share.

its said to see the thanks go away... but it not such a big deal... it think we should be fine with the reps...

The biggest problem with the thanks button being removed is an inflation of "Thanks! Nice Share" posts following a quality thread. I began to notice this last night on a few of the new shares. When the thought enters your mind(or lack thereof) to "thank" someone please hesitate as it only serves to piss off the regular members. We know you like the great posts, we all do!

Well then everyone needs to be informed we are now using the REP button as the THANKS button.
Maybe one of the mods could toss up a new thread about it and show them where the button actually is, cuz I think a lot of people don't even know haha.
Just a thought.
