You have 2 choices long term and short term:
- Short Term : Use PPC, but you need to get a positive ROI
- Long Term : Use SEO and ranks your website, but this process takes times and I suggest you to check Black/White Hat Seo but also LinkBuilding Section.
If you can with your niche, I suggest you to do PPC to invest in SEO.
But some niches doesn't convert to have a positive ROI.

For this SEO will be helpful. These could be better tactics that you may give a touch.
1) Optimize your all web pages with relevant keywords.
2) Implement Google search console and use markups to highlight important pages on your website
3) A consistent approach towards off-page would be a great strategy. Try doing guest posting and ensure that you are getting backlinks from different IP address bloggers.
4) Create Google My Business page and provide all the business information to Google.

Start reading and ask correct questions.
If you want to rank top on google search in a particular niche use google ads and Hire an SEO firm to do the work.
You need to either learn SEO yourself or buy from the Marketplace / Hire A Freelancer.

Write an email to [email protected] and ask them to put your site on first page. 
How does this work? Don't you have to build links to rank up a site. So how does ads do that?

its sound really harder than it is. you just get some nice picture for your niche - lets say you niche ist "golf" - just search on google for a nice golf picture and create an ad with it
write something like this in the ad text "Want too see more? Visit my Website: *your site link* "
DONT shorten your link with bitly or google shortener. this will only get your site slower on the first page
