I too used some of these sites when I first started, and I can tell you this OP.. don't waste your time on any of them. specially PTC it's straight-up bullshit.

Marketing is a good career option, but make it full-time only when you are sufficiently experienced.
 
You can start now and learn the basics of affiliate marketing before you learn advanced strategies. when i first started in this online business, i didn't know what is a domain name, i didn't know what is zen hosting, i didn't know how to set up wordpress or even write a piece of content and optimize it for the SEO, but learning the skills took me from zero to understanding the game.

what you need now is to follow your passion. find a profitable niche and try to serve people. i know people go to Google to find qn answer to their problem. some suffer from acne. some want to earn money and the list is long.

as you are investing on books to get potential high skills and chqnge your mindset, it is also important to invest some money on guides, courses and PDFs to learn new things.

Start out by acquiring lots of knowledge. Find out which paid courses you'd pay for and see if they're already in the downloads section here that way you can learn for free and spend your $$ on domains/SEO/etc
